HISTORY
Rich’s Landscaping & Construction has been satisfying its customers since 1999, just a few months after the owner, Richard Spector, served in the United States Air Force.
The military training provided him with an outstanding opportunity to learn civil engineering and operate heavy equipment commonly used for commercial or residential construction.
While earning his B.S. degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies (1996) and having accomplished an Associate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management (1993), Rich, started out as a restaurant manager, at the same time, working as a laborer for a friend doing landscape construction in 1993.
After gaining the knowledge and experience necessary for landscape construction and civil engineering, Rich realized that he was ready to fully devote his time and energy to a construction business of his own. He decided to apply his passion for culinary arts, and creative imagination to design and build a landscape, to cater to his clients’ needs.
In 1999, after finishing his training in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, Rich immediately started his company Rich’s Landscaping and Construction.
